If the drawing line wipes or peels off
a) In case drawing on silicone products
Unlike general rubber like rubber bands, silicone used for kitchen utensils and swimming caps, etc. will cause the drawing line to wipe off due to rubbing.
The photo above is written (right) on a silicone kitchen utensil (left), then dried and then gently wiped with wet tissue paper (right).
- PM:PROCKEY PM-120T (Fine side) water based pigment ink
- PC:POSCA PC-5M water based pigment ink
- PA:PA-121T (Fine side) Oil based Dye ink
- PNA:PNA-125 Oil based pigment ink
- PX:PAINT MRKER PX-21 Oil based(white: pigment, black:dye)ink
b) In case the drawing is deformed
As with rubber products, when the drawing is deformed to a large extent, the ink may come off. The above picture is written on the rubber band (left), after drying it is a stretch 50 times (right).
※The written letters and products are as follows.- PM:PROCKEY PM-120T (Fine side) water based pigment ink
- PC:POSCA PC-5M water based pigment ink
- PA:PA-121T (Fine side) Oil based Dye ink
- PNA:PNA-125 Oil based pigment ink
- PX:PAINT MRKER PX-21 Oil based(white: pigment, black:dye)ink
c) In case ink is thickly applied
If ink is applied thick like a drop, cracks may occur and peel off due to the time difference between the outside of the ink which is easy to dry by touching the outside air and the inside which is difficult to dry. The photo shows POSCA PC-5M (water based pigment ink) left for half a day after ink is poured out onto a transparent plastic plate as a drop. ※The scale of the ruler is 1 mm.
d) In case drawn with water based dye ink
When the drawing line touches the water, the ink melts out. Color pen PW - 503 PLT, PW - 100T PC, PW - 101T PC correspond.
